Private Lessons The Feldenkrais Method® - Pilates ~ The Alexander TechniqueTM
Allow private training sessions in the Feldenkrais Method®, Pilates or the Alexander TechniqueTM to be your first step in a comprehensive
overhaul of the way you think about your health and fitness. These
movement-based learning methods engage your kinesthetic intelligence
and body awareness, bringing about rapid improvement in the way you
function in life. Practicing them improves the way you use your body in
your fitness-related pursuits and in your everyday routine. It can also
deepen your understanding of the role that body awareness and body
image play in aligning your actions and intentions.
Having selected the method that best meets your needs, you can then
arrange for private lessons tailored to fit your specific goals and
preferences. Private lessons can be scheduled at Kinesthetic Edge's
Walpole-based studio (we also offer private Feldenkrais lessons at the Center at Westwoods in Westwood MA, on Monday afternoons.) Practicing the skills learned in your lessons will
immediately bring about greater comfort and ease in your daily
activities.
If you wish, a more fitness-oriented program we generally recommend Pilates, which will improve your core strength and flexibility. (We offer a gentle approach to Pilates that incorporates elements of both Feldenkrais and Alexander.)
