What is Awareness Through Movement®?
Awareness Through Movement® (or ATM) is a subtle, sophisticated, internally focused learning process that engages the mind, body and spirit. These gentle, verbally guided movement lessons can bring about deep and lasting changes in the way you feel by improving your movement quality, body image and sense of self.
All movement performed during ATM is gentle, but the lessons evoke a powerful response from the nervous system, which can lead to dramatic improvement in posture and movement quality. Many individuals describe feeling more relaxed, calm, and comfortable in their body after a lesson.
